‘How did this all begin?’ You might wonder….

Like a lot of mums, I started to make cakes for my kids’ birthdays. I must admit, my first cake was a total disaster and to this day, I still cringe when looking back at that photo! However, thanks to that particular cake, my new addiction began.

I continued to make cakes for family and friends - I would practically find ANY excuse to make someone a cake. And before I knew it, friends of friends started to send in their requests… and I thought, why not!?

It was, and still is, such an addiction and great sense of satisfaction to be able to get messy in the kitchen and produce something of beauty and something I can be proud of. Best of all, that smile or reaction when presenting the cake…. absolutely priceless!
